ASupernaut  + Billions of Comrades + Boda Boda

ASupernaut
Formed in 2015, aSupernaut is a band made up of 3 Brussels bred musicians, that has been brought to the height of notoriety thanks to its heavy presence on the Brussels scene.
Skinny gits rather than greedy buggers, eager socks-and-sandals wearers, branding the Atomnium tattooed in place of the heart and sporting crotch high teeny weeny shorts, the spectacle of their Brussels’ psychedelia is definitely worth the trip.
But let’s talk music, and what can one say other than it does exactly what it says on the tin.
It’s Rock, it’s soul, it’s Psychedelia and it’s pure love.
Billions of Comrades
openly flirts between rock and electronica. This Belgian band offers a dense music with asymmetric structures where organic sounds mate with those from the Tenori-on, a progressive synthesizer.

At the end of 2011, they recorded their first EP Brass, live and in public. A revealing experience of their desire to have as many friends as possible gravitating around them. They continue to tour, sharing the stage with artists such as Peter Kernel, Electric Electric and ended the year 2012 with a flourish by winning a Belgian music contest (Concours Circuit).

Following an almost exhaustive tour of festivals in Belgium Dour Festival, Brussels Summer Festival, Ronquières Festival, PaCRock, Fiesta du Rock, Quasimorock … and in the North of France Les Nuits Secrètes and Les Sessions Secrètes, Bougez Rock, Corner Frites Scène Belge.

In the wake of this, they enter the studio in Brussels to record their first album GRAIN. Emerging from the DIY scene, the four comrades were surrounded by partners driven by then same sincerity to guide the creation of this first opus: Gilles Mortiaux (Joy As A Toy) for the production and illustrator Gabrielle Fabry for the artwork.

GRAIN is released at the end of 2013, exclusively on vinyl and digital formats, on the independent label Black Basset Records. An album that the band has already had the occasion to defend in 2014 at AB Bota in the Botanique and through Belgium at La Ferme Festival in La Ferme du Biéreau, the Manège in Mons, the Bucolique Ferrières Festival, the Secrètes Sessions in Vk* Brussels, CinéPalace in Kortrijk and the prestigious Glimps festival in Ghent, an open window on the new musical trends of the world, to be compared to the Transmusicales (Rennes) and Crossing Border (The Hague).

BODA BODA
BODA BODA is rock’s last Belgian bastard. Four weird kiddos who play guitars through bass amps to make ’em sound like synths. And play synths through guitar amps to make ’em sound like bass. These mechanical monkeys will make you move your feet with groovy rhythms straight out of the jungle. Somewhere between Queens of the Stone Age and Battles, the four autistic children will drive you crazy with their obsessive riffs and mesmerize you with catchy vocals.
